Broadway Meets Vegas – High 5 Games and ‘Chicago the Musical’ Team Up in New Game Partnership
The CHICAGO Brand Will Be The Inspiration For Slot Games In Casinos Around the World
High 5 Games, the Creative Licensing Group, and The Chicago Limited Partnership have finalized a long-term brand licensing promotional agreement to bring the hit Broadway musical Chicago to slot players worldwide. Through the exclusive partnership, High 5 Games will promote the Chicago brand through the creation of a themed slot game for the social, mobile, online, and land-based platforms.
Production for the Chicago-themed game is set to begin in early 2014, with an expected release date later that year. High 5 Games will use footage and song excerpts from the hit musical as inspiration for the game, giving players an authentic theatrical experience.
“We’re thrilled to be working with a production as world-renowned as Chicago,” said Patrick Benson, VP of Integrated Marketing at High 5 Games. “Our math and game design pared with the music and aesthetics of a Broadway hit like Chicago is a can’t lose proposition for our players.”
This is High 5 Games’ second major branded partnership in recent months, signed shortly after its Miss Universe® Crowning Moment game premiered on H5G’s popular Facebook application High 5 Casino in November of last year.
