Players asked. H5G listened. The ability to play your favorite casino games online is coming soon.
Today, High 5 Games announced the launch of a new subsidiary, H5G Social. The new enterprise will focus on developing H5G games for the online, mobile, and social markets, including Facebook.
“Over the past few months, casino players have consistently and persistently reached out to us on Facebook to ask when they would be able to play their favorite casino games online,” said Anthony Singer, CEO of H5G. “Today, we are pleased to announce that that day is coming soon.”
H5G will take both existing titles in the land-based market, as well as unreleased and never-before-seen games currently in development, and debut them on Facebook and other social networks in the coming months.
“The social market represents a great area of potential growth for our company,” said Med Nadooshan, chief operating officer of H5G. “It’s an excellent medium to directly engage with our players and to build large audiences that our land-based partners will be able to utilize when they implement our brands in their casinos.”
H5G has long been a premier game creator for the land-based casino industry. Golden Goddess and Black Widow shattered performance records last year, and the company is responsible for creating several of the industry’s most celebrated hits, including Cats, Figaro, and White Orchid. H5G’s CEO said it was only logical to pursue development within the social gaming industry.
“The casino genre is one of the fastest growing areas in social gaming,” said Singer. “We believe our proven content will do very well in this space.”
Unlike most current slot machine games on Facebook, H5G Social will develop actual casino games with several new social components. The company expects the games will stand out for their advanced gameplay and artistic vision.
H5G Social will also aim to bring more H5G titles to the regulated iGaming markets in Europe. The H5G games that have already made the transition – Da Vinci Diamonds, Noah’s Ark, and Pixies of the Forest amongst others – have performed very well at online casinos. While those real-money online games will only be available to residents in countries with legal and regulated iGaming regulatory structures, the social games for Facebook will be available to residents around the world, including those players in the United States.
