High 5 Games Recognized In Three 2013 AGA Voice Award Categories

High 5 Games’ innovative communications initiatives are being recognized by the casino gaming industry for the second consecutive year. The company has been named a finalist in three top categories this year in the American Gaming Association’s prestigious annual communications awards.

Last year, High 5 Games won the 2012 AGA Voice award for ‘Best Communications Campaign’ for its year-long effort to establish its brand with potential partners, casinos, and players. High 5 Games has been named a finalist for the Best Communications Campaign category again this year for the launch of High 5 Casino, the company’s top-rated Facebook game. High 5 Games has also earned recognition in the Best Digital Direct Mail and Best Social Media Program categories.

High 5 Games has earned recognition in the awards along with top casino operators like MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, and Las Vegas Sands – all of whom carry H5G games in their properties – as well as H5G game distributors, Bally Technologies and International Game Technology. “We’re pleased not only that our company’s very talented team received recognition by the American Gaming Association, but that so many of our partners had such notable success as well,” said Alexandra Singer, vice president for partner relations at High 5 Games. “We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments in Las Vegas later this month.”

In the category for Best Communications Campaign category this year, MGM Resorts was recognized for ‘Inspiring Our World: A Musical Journey’ and Bally Technologies was named a finalist for its Virtual Racing NASCAR campaign. H5G was recognized for ‘The Launch of High 5 Casino.’

High 5 Games’ monthly email blast, “The Slot Report,” was named as a finalist for the second year running in the category of Best Digital Direct Mail. “The Slot Report” highlights top industry news and is sent to casino executives and operators worldwide.  MGM Resorts joins H5G as a finalist in this category for two direct mail initiatives (Reaching Loyalty Members on Facebook and The Mirage: Yahoo Sports Takeover).

High 5 Games was also named a finalist for Best Social Media Program of 2013. The company was recognized for its’ virtual casino’s vibrant player community, and the company’s commitment and efforts to provide a personalized one-on-one experience that is on par with what they would receive at a brick-and-mortar casino. Other finalists in this category include Pechanga Resorts (for Pechanga Social Media) and Bally Technologies (for Virtual Racing NASCAR Guinness World Record Attempt).

“In the past year, High 5 Games has launched its social casino business, enhanced its relationships with its core land-based partners, and built the foundation for a successful emergence into the real-money online environment in the United States,” said Stephen A. Murphy, vice president of business development for High 5 Games. “We’re humbled that the American Gaming Association chose to recognize the company’s accomplishments, and look forward to continuing to provide great games to all of our partners and players in the months ahead.”
