High 5 Games is seeking a QA Lead to help manage testing efforts for the next generation of online and mobile casino games. This QA Lead will direct a team of QA Testers and be responsible for ensuring all deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of quality. The ideal candidate has at least 2 year of experience managing QA teams, is deadline oriented, thrives in a fast paced environment, and has excellent analytical and communication skills.
Work with Product and Development teams to identify test requirements and plan testing for features & games in mobile & flash social games, video casino applications, and web applications.
Attend daily meetings with cross functional teams as a representative of the QA team.
Mentor your team, allocate and monitor tasks, ensure testing schedules are met and releases go out on time.
Drive continuous process improvements for the QA team and the company. Provide and Implement Quality Assurance standards and best practices to improve the efficiency of your team.
Assist in the development of test plans to verify the functionality and performance of new features and apps.
Record test results, generate written reports that details the findings/bugs and diagnose issues discovered during testing phase. Create clear and detailed bug reports.
Work in a fast paced environment that requires frequent shift in areas of focus.
4+ years of hands-on testing experience in Quality Assurance. 2+ years of experience leading a team.
Experience testing Flash, iOS, Android, web based applications and Server and API code.
Experience using Jira and a proven track record in Agile Development are strongly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple high-priority efforts in parallel while ensuring the highest level of quality.
Excellent communication skills (ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience).
Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and decision making skills.
Knowledge of basic software quality assurance practices, concepts, test tools.
