High 5 Games recently announced that it would donate $10,000 to the American Red Cross to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Together, High 5 Games and its community of players on Facebook rallied to contribute to the relief efforts already underway in the Philippines. On Nov. 14th, the company posted a message on its High 5 Casino fan page with a simple call to action – for every share of the post, H5G would donate $1 to the American Red Cross, up to a total of $10,000. Players had until midnight on November 16th to take part.

Within the first 12 minutes of being uploaded, the post received over 1,000 shares. Although the total number of shares fell a little short with only 7,411 shares, High 5 Games donated the full amount to the American Red Cross Typhoon Relief fund.
