Since the company’s founding in 1995, Anthony Singer has successfully steered High 5 Games through a transformative period in the gaming industry’s history. From the rapid development of player-focused casino content to the advent of social and mobile gaming, High 5 Games has become the premier game creator in the casino industry under Mr. Singer’s leadership.
With decades of experience in software development and game design, Mr. Singer has secured patents for heralded game innovations, negotiated multi-year and multi-platform contracts with various distributors, overseen the launch of highly successful products in the social and mobile gaming spaces, and mentored a large and diverse team of high-level executives from diverse artistic and technical backgrounds. Under Mr. Singer’s vision, H5G games have regularly led the industry in both performance and popularity.
As part of the company’s strategic vision, High 5 Games has expanded beyond its traditional role as a game creator by strengthening its product portfolio, enhancing its brand through its social and mobile casinos, and launching Vault – the company’s remote game server – for online casinos in regulated markets.
Prior to founding High 5 Games, Mr. Singer headed a successful consulting firm in New York City that designed and programmed custom business solutions for clients like The United Nations, Bank of New York, Independence Bank of New York, and the Spanish Institute.
Mr. Singer studied Computer Science at Cornell University and is a member of the International Social Games Association.
Jon Fallon, Esq
General Counsel & SVP of Legal Affairs
As General Counsel & SVP of Legal Affairs, Jon Fallon manages a team that oversees all legal issues related to High 5 Games.
Mr. Fallon works to ensure that High 5 Games is able to define and implement the strategic vision of its executive team while avoiding legal pitfalls and remaining compliant with necessary regulations. Since joining H5G in early 2011, Mr. Fallon has played an integral role in the company’s negotiations with third-party distributors, in addition to handling patent and trademark assets, and reviewing general licenses. Mr. Fallon’s expertise in intellectual property law and broad range of legal experience make him an invaluable member of the H5G executive team.
Mr. Fallon earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and a J.D. from UNH School of Law. He is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Bar Association (ABA), and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Karl Tangara leads High 5 Games’ accounting and finance teams in maintaining the integrity of financial reports, providing financial planning and analysis to key stakeholders, and overseeing treasury functions.
Mr. Tangara brings over a decade of financial services experience to his position. Before joining High 5 Games in late 2012, he served as Vice President, Finance in Goldman Sachs’ legal entity controllers group. Prior to that, he was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, where he spent almost 10 years serving in its Assurance and Advisory Services practice.
Mr. Tangara is a Certified Public Accountant, studied Finance and International Business at The Pennsylvania State University, and earned a Master’s degree in Accounting from The University of Virginia.
Thom Ang oversees the creative direction for all H5G games, collaborating with the company’s studio art directors and ensuring that the company continues to produce premier content in line with production demands.
Mr. Ang brings a lifetime of diverse artistic study and expression to his role as H5G’s leading creative visionary. His knowledge of art in all forms allows him to successfully oversee the creation of vastly different games that live up to H5G’s reputation of excellence, while his years of work leading creative departments in the gaming industry help him to structure and develop a scalable team model that encourages all individuals to strive for their best and to assemble a production pipeline that maintains quality standards while increasing the quantity of content made.
Before joining High 5 Games in 2012, Mr. Ang was the Art Director for 38 Studios. He has also served as Corporate Art Director for THQ, and has made previous stops at Electronic Arts, Sony, and Disney Interactive. Mr. Ang moonlighted for much of his professional career as a freelance illustrator.
Mr. Ang earned a B.F.A in Illustration from Art Center College of Design.
VP, Integrated Marketing
Patrick Benson is responsible for High 5 Games' marketing and branding strategies for its core and social businesses.
Mr. Benson, a true collaborator and excellent communicator, enjoys working with various people across numerous departments and developing the talents of those professionals within his department. Mr. Benson is responsible for B2B and B2C branding and customer acquisition. He has played a major role in High 5 Casino’s considerable growth on Facebook, and has played a critical part in establishing H5G’s public persona. He has also been integral in fostering a licensing team that seeks out partnerships with best-in-class partners, and in aggressively pursuing trademarks for H5G brands.
Prior to joining H5G, Mr. Benson was Senior Vice President of Digital Media and Innovations Director at Deutsch. He also held positions at Beyond Interactive and Grey Advertising; in 2003, he received Advertising Age’s Twenty Something Star Recognition Award. Mr. Benson has spoken and participated in several DigiDay marketing panels.
Mr. Benson earned his B.A. in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing at the University of Florida.
High 5 Games is pleased to announce that Oleg Simonov has joined the executive team as Vice President of Technology.
Over the last 20 years, Oleg has held leadership roles designing and delivering mission critical systems using next generation technologies in hypercompetitive industries such as equity trading and e-commerce. In 2012, his leadership roles earned him both the American Financial Technology Award for Best Global Deployment and Most Cutting-Edge IT Award.
Early in his career, Oleg facilitated the growth of several startup companies by applying leading-edge technology and spearheading innovative solutions. Most recently, he served as the Program Manager for the NY Stock Exchange’s hallmark next generation trading systems initiative Pillar.
Oleg holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Computer Science from SUNY Stony Brook, with a minor in French Literature.
