Anthony Singer, CEO and Founder of High 5 Games, discusses the slot developer’s expansion into new markets and reveals how the company is innovating the gaming experience.
EGR Intel (EGR): What have been the key drivers behind High 5 Games’ recent growth in Europe?
Anthony Singer (AS): Having been granted a license from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), the first half of 2019 has seen us significantly expand our international footprint. Numerous tier one operators have already benefitted from our remote game server, the VAULT, and over the next few months, we expect many others to become integrated. The MGA license means we can extend our reach and enter new territories, matching our strategic ambition to bring the VAULT into as many new countries in the shortest time possible. We’ll be securing our Denmark license shortly, while we also have our sights set on moving into Italy and Spain in the coming months.
We have a proven slots library with a history of high success that is now expanded to over 120 licensed games that can be brought to many territories. What makes our content an attractive proposition is that we offer a mix of game themes and math models, which means our slots can engage with many different audiences.
We have been developing slots for over 20 years now and have many proprietary methods to make the best games that drive customer engagement. This method has recently been focused on the online market and I’m very excited about the upcoming innovative games that are imminent. The operators that we have previewed these games to have shown great interest in bringing them to market as soon as they are available.
EGR: H5G made its name in American land-based casinos and you now have a strong footprint within the US online space. Tell us a bit more about that and your plans as the market opens.
AS: We have been live with nearly every New Jersey operator since the territory entered the regulated online market. Recently, we have brought our new HTML5 library to them and they have reciprocated with fantastic placement and approval. New entrants into the market, including Unibet and bet365, will be featuring our current and new innovative games as they go live.
There’s plenty of movement in the US right now in terms of regulation and product investment – it’s an exciting period for sue. We’ll be launching our games in Pennsylvania in the coming months once the online casino market opens up, and will be ready to move into any other states which embrace remote wagering.
We’re very much open to entering new territories all over the world. As well as building on our existing presence in North America and Europe, there are plenty of other markets which are of real interest to us, including Africa, Latin America, and Asia, to name a few.
Wherever our partners want to launch our games, you can be sure we’ll support them. The High 5 VAULT provides operators with direct access to our extensive slots library of more than 300 HTML5 games, which simplifies the process for those looking to diversify their range of games quickly and efficiently.
EGR: What plans do you have to expand your existing games offering? Are you bringing any exciting new features to the market?
AS: We’ll soon be introducing innovative features to our slots that will take the online gaming experience to the next level. Our new ‘journey’ gamification feature will be incorporated into upcoming release Way Out Wilds and will bring exciting new in-game pop-ups, meta games, and hidden rounds to create an additional layer of excitement to the traditional slots experience.
We’ve spoken to a number of operator partners about our innovative new features and they’re totally on-board with the concepts and are signed up to offering them to their players.
